the orientation board
selfalign
A small board for one day at a time: a few intentions at hand, a timer on the one you are doing, and an honest close. Notion keeps the big picture; selfalign keeps what is in front of you.
Personal and invite-only โ the same day on your laptop, your phone and in the terminal, kept as plain files you can read.
One kind of thing
An intention is a line you wrote about what you want to happen today. Attach a context or two, star it, work on it. Everything else โ done, not today, a note appended, minutes worked โ is remembered as events on that line, never overwritten.
Physics, not policy
The day starts empty. Nothing rolls over by itself: yesterday's undones come back as information, to be chosen again or released. A closed day is locked. Worked time is derived from timer blocks, never typed in. No streaks, no red, no debt.
Your data, in a folder
Signed in, your journal is a directory of plain JSON lines on the server โ one folder per account, readable by you, yours to copy out. Or keep it in this browser only, where nothing leaves the device.
